Keith Haggart
Chief Executive Officer
I have worked in the equity release market for over 20 years. My passion is enabling people to use their housing wealth to provide for a more comfortable retirement.
During my career, I've launched three separate equity release businesses and been a pioneer in terms of product innovation and customer service.
I am a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Tim Allen
Chief Financial Officer
I have over 20 years of experience in leading finance teams. I have worked across a wide variety of industries, including technology, retail, hospitality, construction, and the third sector. I’ve been fortunate to lead back-office functions in several high-growth businesses and I’m excited to be a part of the team at Responsible, where we put the customer at the centre of what we do, supporting them to attain the right outcomes for their retirement.
I graduated from Birmingham University in 1990 and have been a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants for over 25 years and a Fellow for the last 5 years.
I enjoy a wide variety of music and love living in the South West.
Alex Gates
Director of Risk & Compliance
I have over 20 years of experience working in Financial Services, working for well-known high street brands in the residential mortgage world before joining Responsible Lending to focus on later life lending, a part of the industry I am passionate about. I am driven to ensure our business truly has a ‘customer-first’ ethos and that we are focused every day on making our customers' lives better as they approach or move into retirement. This is, of course, in addition to making sure the business is compliant with all the appropriate rules and regulations.
I am a member of the Institute of Risk Management and outside of work love spending time with my family as well as trying to improve my somewhat suspect golf game.
Kimberley Sponheimer
Transformation Director
I started my career in Financial Services in 2003 and am qualified in both CeMAP and CeRER, providing me with excellent domain knowledge.
My role is to ensure that the strategic roadmap for infrastructure and application meets the business plan objectives and ensure that business processes are running as lean as possible. It is also my role to manage the relationship with all third-party IT providers.
